Tracy has a strengths based approach and an open mind who is able to be flexible in session and innovative with her ideas. With plenty of experience working professionally with young people on positive mental health, Tracy loves empowering students to work towards a positive mindset, supporting them to reach their full potential. 

Tracy Boomer originates from Canberra and has fronted various bands and duos from an early age, with a focus on vocals and acoustic guitar. Learning classical guitar as a teenager, Tracy can share quite a range of skills with our students, including fabulous finger picking techniques, chords, bar chords, pick utilization, strumming techniques and nearly any goal a student can throw at her. 
 
Tutoring guitar throughout her younger years, Tracy was band mentor and manager for a group of young people through the Girls Rock Program in Canberra working with diverse young people. 
 
Tracy is a counselor by trade and quite often uses art and music as a part of her therapy. Tracy has worked with neuro-diverse young people for many years and knows the importance of being patient, aware and open to creative ideas when engaging. 
 
Like all of our Tamwel Arts tutors, Tracy has current DHS Working With Children Checks, Police Check and Insurance.
