At Tamwel Arts, our tutors are compassionate, inclusive, and deeply committed to supporting each student as an individual. We use music as a tool for confidence, connection, and strengths-based growth, mentoring students in a way that feels safe, encouraging, and empowering. Our team are devoted educators who value best practice and lifelong learning.
All Tamwel Arts tutors hold current Child Safe Environments Training, DCSI Police Clearances, and Teachers Insurance. Tamwel Arts is proudly aligned with the Child Friendly Charter.

Music Mentor ~ Tammy Methofer
Tammy is the founder of Tamwel Arts and has been supporting families and individuals of all ages through music education and mentoring since 2007. Her work blends instrumental tuition with mentoring and wellbeing, using music as a tool for connection, confidence, and self-expression. With a strong emphasis on inclusion and strengths-based growth, Tammy creates safe and supportive learning environments where students feel seen and valued. She works closely with families and schools to ensure each person can grow at their own pace — both musically and personally.
Vocal Mentor ~ Emma Gordon-Smith
Emma is our nurturing and joyful Vocal Mentor. She is a professional singer and performer with over 20 years’ experience across live music, cabaret, and musical theatre, currently performing in bands and shows around Adelaide. A regular Adelaide Fringe performer, Emma brings her deep love of voice and performance into her teaching, creating lessons that are warm, playful, and confidence-building. She supports students to find freedom, confidence, and genuine enjoyment in their voice.
Violin & Viola Mentor ~ Andrew O'Loughlin
Andrew is our warm-hearted Violin and Viola Mentor. He holds a Diploma of Music and a Bachelor of Music and teaches with a strong focus on student wellbeing, delivering engaging and technically sound lessons that support safe, long-term skill development. Andrew is known for his calm, relatable teaching style and his ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students.
Music Mentor & Creative Counsellor ~ Tracy Boomer
Tracy is our Music Mentor and qualified Counsellor who brings a strengths-based, flexible, and deeply supportive approach to her work with students. With extensive experience supporting young people’s mental health, including neurodivergent learners, Tracy uses music and creativity to build confidence, emotional regulation, and self-belief. A performer and mentor with a background in vocals, guitar and bass, Tracy embodies the Tamwel Arts ethos of nurturing not just great musicians, but confident and capable humans.
Holistic Arts Therapist & Creative Counsellor ~ Kiera Collins
Kiera is an experienced performer and music wellness practitioner who believes in the power of music and art to build connection, wellbeing, and personal growth. Holding a Counselling degree and a Diploma of Holistic Art Therapy, she delivers Creative Counselling Sessions and Holistic Wellness & Art Therapy, supporting participants through strengths-based and person-centred approaches. From February 2026, Kiera will be relocating to Queensland and will be available for Telehealth appointments.

We offer sound-treated teaching rooms in Christie’s Beach, full administrative support, and the opportunity to work within an inclusive, strengths-based environment that supports neurodiverse learners and individual musical goals.
