Andrew grew up in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide and started learning viola in year 4. He has loved playing the viola since he started, despite being told he was learning it, rather than choosing it.
 
He went to the University of Adelaide, where he started a Science degree, before realising his passion was in music and teaching, completing a diploma in Music followed by a Bachelor of Music.
 
Andrew aims to teach with the student’s health and happiness as priority, making sure lessons are fun and engaging, while still focussing on correct technique to avoid injuries.
 
Andrew is a very relatable tutor who his students love to connect with. He and Tammy have worked alongside each other tutoring music for many years at Tatachilla Lutheran College and both have a love for dogs, of which Andrew breeds and shows German Shepherds.
